Hi Chris, is my basement floor much better now? What do you think of my interior spaces as well. Any suggestion to improve on dividing the space below ground?
Overview of the building. I am going to make a terrain with lake. Do you recommend me to use lumion?

This is the givenchy workshop and my gallery spaces.

This is the top view of my stairs that i have created. I like this design because I think its the first star shaped stairs ever made as I could not find any similar stairs. Please kindly give me an opinion if you like it as well.

The stairs structure.

I have yet to develop the underground space as it is quite huge. My idea is to display the limited edition motorcycle in the middle, a workshop opposite of the ramp and the rest would be a customer seating lounge while they are waiting for their bikes to get modified/repaired. Please give me any suggestion on what I need to further add in. Thank you very much for pushing me Chris. Really appreciate it.

  2. Hi Sheng. I think you're architecture is really coming along now. I'd like to see you work within Sketchup as much as possible, but I'm happy for you to use photoshop to 'dress up' your final images if you so wish but I'd prefer you to master this one platform for exp 1, we can move onto Lumion with exp 2. I'd focus your energies now on your second stair (your first stair is very provoking and I agree, quite unique). In addition to the second stair we need a bit of a fit out - if furniture (i'm assuming components and 3D warehouse objects) are crashing your computer I'm totally happy with you keeping things simple - ie. benches, blocks, cubes, etc. Remember you need to make some block shapes and apply some images of your clients work to those shapes. Keep in mind that i'm more interested to see how you will fit out your architecture and demonstrate how it might be used, how it might be moved through, or how it might be enjoyed... using these simple object shapes to demonstrate this - this is what i will be more interested in marking rather than the quality or the complexity of those objects themselves. Priority number one is your terrain!! The next image you post MUST include your terrain, explore the sandbox tools, I've already seen other students creating some interesting topography with these simple tools. Chris.
